FIXED DEPOSIT ACCOUNT

Fixed Deposit is placement of funds for a pre-determined term (1, 3, 6, 9, or 12 months) at the prevailing interest rate.

Features and Benefits

• Minimum opening amount is Ks. 500  

• Account holder will be issued with a Fixed Deposit Receipt which is NOT transferable.

• Withdrawals can be done at ANY Yoma Bank branch.  
  Interest is calculated upon maturity.  (For the latest rates, please see our Interest Rate Table.)  

• Interest can be paid to account holder by cash, credit to any designated account or by Payment Order in accordance with the account holder’s instructions.  

• Automatic renewal of the Fixed Deposit upon maturity.

• Pre-matured withdrawal is allowed but the interest payable will be adjusted accordingly.
