Yoma Bank is also the first to establish a fully integrated training school – The Yoma School of Banking, providing intensive training to its staff in professionalism and proficiency.

In 1999, the Bank set up its own IT Department (Information Technology) to spearhead an integrated computerization plan – The Yoma Integrated Banking System (YIBS) -  to keep abreast with the technology and the ever changing banking environment.

Yoma Bank is the first bank in Myanmar to have a full fledged IT Department with our own software and hardware engineers. The IT Department developed proprietary in-house core banking  systems (YIBS), Yoma Human Resource Management System, Yoma Credit Card System, Yoma Asset Management System, Yoma Trade Guarantee System and other banking applications.

 On 11th March 2002, Yoma Bank launched the online banking systems linking all the 41 branches nationwide via VSAT satellite communication system to provide even more efficient service to more than 300,000 customers all over the country.
