CURRENT
ACCOUNT
The YOMA Bank Current Account is available
to corporations as well as individuals. To open a Corporate
Current Account, we will need your relevant
Companys registration documents and a valid Board Resolution.
Types
of Current Accounts Available:
Individual
/Personal Account
Joint Account
Corporate Account
Features and Benefits

Minimum
opening amount is Ks. 1000 per account.

There
is no need to maintain a minimum balance in the account.

Current
Accounts can also be
linked to
Savings or Call Deposit Accounts to transfer required funds
to cover cheques drawn.

By
linking the Current Account to other accounts, you can also
prevent interest loss.

Account
Holders will be provided with a YOMA Bank cheque book containing
25 or 50 cheques.

Cheques
may be used for payment to another party instead of cash.

Account
Holders can also issue cash cheques to withdraw cash.

All
YOMA Bank order/bearer checks may be cashed at
ANY YOMA Bank branches or any other private
banks including Government Banks.

SAVINGS
ACCOUNT

The YOMA Bank
Savings Account serves to encourage savings by providing a fixed
interest paid on the savings. The account holder will be issued
with a Savings Passbook in which all the transactions are recorded
as proof of deposits or withdrawals

Types of Savings Accounts:

opening amount is Ks. 1000.

Holders are required to maintain a
minimum
balance of Ks.100
in their accounts at all times.

Subsequent
minimum deposit amount accepted is Ks. 50 for any one transaction.

Savings
Account may also be
linked
to Current Accounts to transfer the required
funds to cover cheques drawn.

Account
holders will be issued with a YOMA Savings Passbook.

Withdrawals
can be done at
ANY
Yoma Bank branches.

Interest
rates are announced by the Central Bank of Myanmar. (For the

Interest Rate Table.)

Interest
is calculated
monthly
and credited to the accounts bi-annually
on every 31st March and 30th September.

CALL
ACCOUNT

The YOMA Call Account is similar to the Savings
Account except that interest is computed on a daily basis and credited
to the account at the end of every month. The account holder is
also issued with a YOMA Bank Call Account Passbook in which all
updated transactions are recorded as proof of deposits and/or
withdrawals.

opening amount is Ks. 1000 or multiples of a thousand.

Account
Holders are required to maintain a minimum balance of
Ks. 1000 in their account at all times.

minimum deposit amount can be any amount.

Account can also be linked to your Current Account to transfer
the required funds to cover your check drawn.

Account
holder will be issued with a Call Account Passbook.

Withdrawals
can be done at ANY Yoma Bank branches.

Interest
is calculated using daily rest method and credited to the account
at the end of every month.
